EIGHTH GRADE CLASS HISTORY Three members of the class of '54 began their schooling together in nursery school at Horace Nwnn.They were Patricia An Shelton, Mildred Rodriquez, and Shirley Uieterich. These girls were among the first to attend nursery echrol here in this building. From these first three,the number of students in this class has now risen to twenty-three. Our teachers this year are Mr.Anderson, coachgMr.Garner typing, Mrs. Arthur, reading, spelling, English and social studies, and Mr. Kyrias,soience and mathematics. The activi- ties we may take pert in are: the Dramatics Club, Camera Club, Boys Club, Junior Higi--Football,Basketball and Soft- ball, and the Tab Club CTeenage Book Clubj. The eighth grade has helped to stage two plays, nThe Haunted Clotheslinen and nGhosts in the Library.u Our class officers for this year are president, Wayne Nelson, vice-president, Johnny Adams, secretary, Norma Nuck- ollsy treasurer, Kermit Browne, reporter for the Mirror,Mar- cia Jean Skeedg sports reporter, Beverly Cooper, and Student Council Representative, Shirley Dietrich.
