The second social meeting was a banquet held in the lunchroom from 12:50 to 2:00. Speeches were given based on the word Thanksgiving , Invited guests were:Mr. Dieterich, Dr. Bishop, Mr. Gibson, Miss Arnold, and Mr. Rybak. An extra social affair was granted this class as a re- ward for selling the most magazines in the sale For the pur pose of buying a television set.This was a party at the skat ing rink where the freshmen and the ir guests had a chance to show their abil ity as well as their temper-aments, for swift was their motion, and many were their falls. This concludes the freshman history for the first sem- ester. Big plans have been made for the second - semester which includes the freshman assembly early in the quarter several parties, and a trip to some place of interest.
