They asked me if I had seen Carolyn Younger lately. Carolyn was the kindergarten teacher at Horace Mann Labora- tory School. I told them I had not lately but was thinking about making autrip back to my old Alma Mater. That night we were sitting around talking when I guess I fell asleep. Books began flying at meifrom all direc- tions. As they bounced wildly about I noticed the name on one, Habits of the Hummingbird by Lavaun Leuthold and Eva Nicholson. maocmrsivi names sounded familiar. - Suddenly my head was aching terribly and stars of all different hues were shooting in every direotim. In the dim distance I could hear a voice. It had a haunting vibrant tone. I rubbed my eyes dazedly trying to sit up but it felt as though a 500 lb. weight had hit me on the head. A Try as I may I couldn't get my eyes opened. Once again I heard a voice and a hmd shook my shoulder. This time I recognized Joyce's voice, Frankie, Frankie, wake up. What ha ppen ed? You've been screaming and laughing something awfulgand as usual, you had the door to your lab locked and I had to call the police to break it dcwni' I sat up and looked aroundg everything seemed to he in place and there on the table were the rennins of my experi- ment. I gave one look, than swept everythixg to the ifloore Had I really been dreaming or was it real? This couldn'-b have happened, could it? I resolved then and there never to be a guinea pig for my om experiments. '
