:FQ Bu L1 Ao The Future Business Leaders of America were orgainzed again this year with Mr. Buford Garner as sponsor, The group elected their office rs for the cl uh.. They are as follows: president, Betty Manley, vice-president, Madonna Piggy secretary, Rosalie Kiserg treasurer, Helen Twaddle. All members were initiated into the leader, supervisor, and helper degrees, To be a leader, a member must have ' 2-5 credits in business subjects. Por the supervisor and helper degrees, ihey must have lg- and l credit respectively. The purpose of this club is to help the members find the field of business fbr which they are best qualified and help improve their homes and communities. F, H. A, The Future Home-Makers of America were organized again this year with a new advisor, Miss Janet Wilson. The group chose the following officers for the clubg president, Twyla McFarlandg vice-president, Betty Haineyg secretary-treasurer Sarah Scott. Several members attended the District F., H. A. meeting at Hopkins, where Betty Hainey was elected District President for 1950-1951. ' LI BRARY CL UB In order that Horace Mann can more efficiently ffserve its public, ihe student bo dy and faculty, student volunteers have organized themselves into a service club. They work at the desk, shelve books, read shelves, aid in locating information and in general keep the library ' ibnctioning effectively. Officers for the year are: president, Mary Garrison secretary, Shirley Dieter-ich, reporter Versie Saffell. The club sponsor is the librarian, Miss Beulah Neprud This year the group spcnsored BOOK WEEK during which an assembly program was given..
