Practical, Career Mathematics Available Mathematics taught pupils to solve everyday problems and pre¬ pared interested students for ca¬ reers. Because of lack of government funds, computer math was not of¬ fered this year. Courses continued for interested high school students at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Students needing assistance in mathematics received . aid at the math clinic. Tutored by fellow stu¬ dents, they were able to overcome their difficulties. New teachers added to the staff were Mr. Lee Robinson, known as coach to former physical education students, taught eighth grade math. Mr. Robert Justin taught seventh and eighth grade math along with Mr. Robert Rhymes. Beth Hogg plots the graph of an elipse in Algebra II. Pete Peronis and Dave Bryant explain the processes of Arithmetic.
