Again returned to Wansan Bay, Received the word we'd sail next day To find another stretch of beach That landing ships could safefy reach At Iwonaup the coast away We followed sweepers in the bay, And survey men took boats ashore To talk to natives and explore The site where army troops would land No mud, no rocks, just clear white sand Next morning back to Nonsan port, - Delivered our survey report ...,.t... . ... Our job would be to search and find A channel forfghipsto use. An urgent job - no time to lose. Three weary winter weeks went bys And from the gray November sky Came rain and sleet and even snow5 Whenever northwest gales would blow, Our boats were busy searching mines And planting buoys on the linesj Or working with the windmilli crew, !
