Les Langues The study of languages offered students a chance to become familiar with not only the basic speech patterns but also the cultures of France, Germany, ' and Spain. Both grammar and conversational fluency received emphasis through oral and written drillsg the use of Workbooks and special French and German magazines provided reading practice.
