GUIDANCE GIVES GREATER SERVICE ■ GUIDANCE PLAYED an increasingly important role this year both in the Library and in the Guidance Departments. Realizing the possibility of being able to reach more students under the Modular Program, both sought to increase their capacity to serve. The Main Library increased its number of available assistants to aid students. Under Mr. Tufander. the Guidance Department introduced Senior Guidance Meetings to distribute information to Seniors and a Guidance Resource Center. The hundreds of students who came to these departments seeking aid were not disappointed.

 ■ AN UNDERSTANDING of family relationships and a practical knowledge of auto mechanics and business law are essential to most people in everyday life besides in professions. The home economics, industrial arts and business departments helped to distribute this knowledge to students. Under Modular Scheduling they have been able to conduct open labs.
