Hopkins' three librarians found ’66-'67 a busy school year Twenty-eight library assistants were needed in the main and resource libraries to accomodate the growing number of students The modular scheduling program for next year brought about plans for a breakdown of the resource library into individual sections specializing in given subjects such as social studies, and science As many new magazines made their debut on Hopkins' shelves, the possibility of a special room for periodicals was formulated In order to meet the needs of our expanding student body and curriculum this year, the Hopkins' library department continued to grow in size and services for the students. The new trend toward pursuing language courses has certainly posed a problem here at Hopkins. Just this year two sections of German and one of French were added to the curriculum Next year the Russian Department will be expanded This year to make up for the language teacher shortage, two English teachers.
