LANGUAGE STUDIES SPAN CONTINENTS OS THE WORLD has become increasingly smaller, our effective communication with other notions hos become more essential. Through a study of foreign languages and cultures we have best been able to gain an understanding of our neighbors ond appreciate their cultures. Our language department had this very spirit of cooperation and apprecia'-'on as its goal in teaching. With the use of such supplementary materials as film strips and the language shelves in the Resource Library, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and Latin cultures have been made stimulating and informative. Our language lob, now in its third year, continued to give students invaluable practice speaking conversationally the languages studied grammatically in their classrooms.
