THANK YOU FROM SHAKESPEARE TO STEBLAY □ necessary element in every Senior's career is Shakespeare's Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow. However, English today is more than memorization and grammar rules. The English Department, under the guidance of Mr. Caruson, offers courses in College Composition, for those desiring to develop the skills of effective writing, and Survey of World Literature, a background course to modern reading. Also included are expanding speech and debate sections. Learning the persuasive skills of speaking, the debate team finds continual success in the yearly series of tournaments. The aim of the Sophomore section is to gain an introduction to further study.
