Speech. Debate or Survey of World Literature. Problems of teaching writing and literature were studied by the English Department, headed by Mr. Caruson. It is hoped that in the future junior and senior high English curricula can be co-ordinated to constitute a more unified program of study. English seminars may be presented in the future as a part of English study. Most of us remember Et tu, Brute! , the disciplined thinking of Jonathan Edwards, or Chaucer and When that Aprille. . . Also, some of us experienced team teaching when two teachers took turns teaching specific parts of an English .course. All these factors have helped to make the study of English interesting and adventurous. Librarians: Mrs. Dorothy Oyaas, Mrs. Betty Stenbeck. Mrs. Donna Johnson.
