OuA Day OS the hands of the clock reach 7:30 we find students arriving slowly, some meandering the halls and others fearfully trying to finish last minute assignments, hoping their teacher will have pity and extend the final deadline. At 8:10 the warning bell rings and the day officially begins. One can tell it is 11:00 by the low roar as students make their way to first lunch. The afternoon progresses rapidly and 3:10 arrives sooner than expected. But our day doesn’t stop here! That bell closes school only to open a whole new area of clubs, meetings and various activities. •AROUND THE CLOCK AT HOPKINS HIGH SCHOOL . . . OUR SCHOOL is more than a beautiful building. It is a community center. To us, as students, it is a place ,where we prepare ourselves for the future, be it college, a trade, or marriage. It is a place where we enjoy ourselves at extra-curricular activities: clubs, parties, dances, and sports events. Above all, it is a place where we make lasting friendships and have some of the richest and most memorable experiences of our lives. •VIEWS OF HOPKINS HIGH SCHOOL . . .
