AFTER TWELVE YEARS OF SCHOOL, THEY ARE PREPARED TO FACE THE WORLD AS YOUNG CITIZENS THREE years ago the class of '5-1 crossed the worn and well-used threshold of the Senior High School building. This, the largest class ever to enter Hopkins High, endeavored to cope with the intricate problems confronting them. Of first importance was to make the most of our opportunities to study under the superior guidance of our understanding faculty. As juniors we found ourselves taking an active part in athletics, dramatics, music, homecomings and the prom. Our Senior year found us exchanging class pictures and cards, measuring for caps, and conferences with our teachers. It was proof that our high school days were almost over. As the time drew nearer for us to receive our diplomas we came to realize more fully how important our teachers’ daily work and guidance really were. They have given us confidence to look to the future. (left) Solutotorion: JERRY ONSTAD
