Cloudless skies and cheery Excelsior atmosphere made the first frosh class picnic an unqualified success. Older, wiser, sophomores filed into the sunny assembly, a replica of the one they walked into the year before. To elect their officers was their purpose. Scholarly, chemistry - minded, dependable, Richard Hagen accepted the presidency. Frosh secretary-treasurer Walter Lundahl was re-elected for the sophomore year. Janet la-kousky, James Soulcn, Robert Hart were new councilmcn.
