Hampshire League Banquet On the evening of April 4, the annual Hampshire League Banquet was held at the Hadley Sportsman's Club. This affair was attended by more than 100 Hampf shire League players, coaches, and their guests. Principal Fred Riel was master of ceremonies. Sitting at the head table were Reverend Thomas F. Delehenty of St. Michael's, Mr. Wilson, Coach Leon J. Stanne, Principal john Jakobek of Smith Academy, Principal Myron Collette of Deerfield, and Coach George Williams of Amherst. The League trophy was presented to Captain Eddie Tudryn by Mr. Riel. This trophy was a bronze replica of a standard size basketball. Coach Leon j. Stanne spoke briefly of each one of his players.
