FOREWORD What does this Yearbook mean to you as an individual and as a student? This 1958 Viking contains a memory pattern of all of your social affairs, your sports events, and everything which you may have achieved, here, in the Halls of Hopewell Memorial High. All of your sorrows and your joyous and happy memories, which are illustrated in pictures and in words, shall last a life- time. We hope that from time to time you will be returning to these pages to see what you, yourself, have encountered throughout your high school days. With or without us, this troubled world moves on, and as it moves, we find ourselves confronted with many perplexing problems, only we can solve. Our High School will have many new faces, and many graduating classes, but in our memories it will always remain the same. The hours which we sacrificed to study for exams will never be forgotten, but neither will the many friends which we may have made here. All will be pleasant memories in the far future with the thousand of recollections, which this book brings forth to us. Recorded within these pages for posterity are some of the important events that will be cherished memories after Graduation Day.
