ART DEPARTMENT Miss Taylor lets the class gather around for a few pointers in the colorful art room. LIBRARY Elizabeth P. Taylor Longwood, B.S., V.C.U., William and Mary. The Art Department at Hopewell High develops the talents and desires of its many students. These students are engaged in many various types of art work and the study of art history. Miss Taylor, an outstanding artist, is also an excellent teacher. Mary Carter Norton Madison, B.A. A deadline on a composition coming? Book report due? Want a good book to read? All these and more are answered by a quick trip to the fine facilities of our library. Friendly and courteous librarians make the use of our library a pleasant undertaking. Basketball, football, golf, softball, baseball, and wrestling are taught by our fine coaches. Classroom courses in driver education and first aid are given to further our knowledge.
