General science, biology, chemistry, and physics are the courses offered to us. Storage rooms of supplies and labs with the best equipment available assist the fine teachers in their job of showing us how vast and complex the world of science really is. FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT Joan Griggs University of Colorado, University of Mexico, University of Southern California, B.A., California State College. In the modern world of today, knowledge of more than one language is important. To keep up with the rapid global communication trends, the Foreign Language Department sees to it that every student draws as much from his foreign language as possible. Four years of French and Spanish and two years of Latin are offered in the general curriculum. The language lab with its tape facilities is a valuable aid to all concerned. Devoted teachers unselfishly give of themselves to students in teaching grammar, reading, and speaking the language of the student ' s choice.
