Hopewell High School ' s Blue and Gold Band is a group of which our school is very proud. They represent HHS at football games, parades, and many other school and community func¬ tions. This year our stage bands have greatly encouraged participation in the instrumental music field. Development of talent in music is aided by the help of our capable director. Madeline S. Atkins R.P.I., College of William and Mary, B. Of Music Ed., Univ. of Va., Madison College. All of the qualities of good students are fully displayed through our choral department. Talent and many hours of practice are directed by a well-qualified teacher. Talent days encourage extra practice.
