GIRLS’ PHYSICAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT Dolores Elaine Webb Madison College, B.S., University of Virginia, M.Ed. It was once said that a man can have every earthly pleasure, but if he does not have his health he has nothing. The physical education classes afford a chance for students to take a break from their schoolwork while learning to enjoy certain sports and games. They also learn a proper, healthy outlook on life as well as how to care for their bodies. In the new auxiliary gymnasium the girls learn such intricate skills as walking on balance beams and jumping on mini-trampolines.
