STUDENT COUNCIL . The purpose of the student council is to voice opinions of the students to the faculty for their approval. The council shall promote assembly programs and vote and pass upon new organizations in the student body with the con- sent of thc faculty. Membership consists of twelveg the secret- ary-trcasurer and president from cach class, and four additional members of the junior and senior classes.. All students and teachers of this high school shall bc considered members of the as- sociation. The grnoral powvrs of this association shall be vested in a council of twelve mcmbors The Superintendent of Schools shall be consid- ered an ax-officio mnmber of the council. Thr council shall make and 'nforce rules ncccssary for tho bettermant of the school, its life, and its interests, to grant charters to its clubs and organizations, to supervise and have final decisions in all matters concerning the extra-curricular activities of the school. Kal It is furthe'-r nrovidfd that any action of the council is subjcct to the veto of the faculty. Kbl It advises the nrasidcnt in the an- pointment of committees. Col It invcstigatfs and reports on mat- ters csoccially rrfarrcd to it by the faculty or administrative offic rs of the school. The activities may be as many or few as the council or association desires.
