LIONS ROAR HOPE HIGH SCHOOL, HOPE, KANSAS EDITOR - TAMELA SCHLESENER PHOTOGRAPHY EDITOR - DOUG POLSTON For the past 10 years Mr. Dwight Kamm has been a familiar face around the science building. He has been teaching various science classes: general science, biology, chemistry, physics, independent stud- ies, and eighth grade science class. Mr. Kamm is also one of the Student Council sponsors. He has been sponsoring StuCo events for the last seven years. Mr. Kamm spends much of his spare time at school helping to take, develop, and print pictures for both the annual and school newspaper. When it comes to picture taking Mr. Kamm is known for his pa- tience in waiting for late comers, quickness - when the bus is about ready to leave, and his great lesson in counting 1,2,4 click. It is with great appreciation that we, the Annual Staff of 1983 - 1984, dedicate this annual to Mr. Dwight Kamm. 2 SENIORS ’84 Roger Hummel Class Officers - Front Row; Secretary - Tamela Schlesener, Presi- dent - Charlotte Shippy, Vice President - Kelli Schlesener, Trea- surer - Roger Hummel, StuCo Representative - Doug Polston, and Reporter - Allen Todd. The Class of 85, even though small in size, has had many accomplishments to be proud of this year. The cast of the play, Hot Water , involved everyone. With a lot of hard work and push, all nine of us presnted our play. We prepared a Sloppy- Joe Feed for the vocal groups at the League Festival. Our second money maker proved quite rewarding, also. On St. Patrick's Day, we had an Irish Stew Supper and cake raf- fle. Tonight We Celebrate was the theme of prom, for which we worked so hard for all these years. The music was provided by Lix . Because of these accomplishments, we look forward to our Senior year with excited expectation. 6 The Helping Hand Man Brenda, you want MORE?!
