LIONS ROAR Hope High School, Hope, Kansas Editor-in-chief: Roseann Lorson Photographers: Kenny Rock, Danny Cook P JJ L We wish to express our respect and gratitude to a person who has been dedicated to his job as teacher and coach at Hope High School for the past six years. Since he has been at Hope, the athletic program has improved and excelled. Under his leadership, football, basketball, and track teams have consistently finished with successful, winning seasons. He has shown us, the students of Hope High, that dedication, enthusiasm, and above all hard work are important not only in sports, but everyday life also. But he has been more than a coach to his students. He has been a friend. He has been someone to talk to when problems arise, whether physical aches and pains, school problems, or some- thing more serious, he has been there to listen and give advice. He has taught us how to show respect and to strive for better things. So with great admiration we dedicate this, the 1981 Lions Roar to Mr. Craig Schneider. 2 School Board: Back row: Leon Coup, Charmaine Oesterreich, Boyd Stroda Seated: Ellen Cabrales, Leslie Worrell, and Dale Gantenbein Unified Office Secretaries: Doris Jacobson, Marlene Lorson, and Eddie Wendt ADMINISTRATION 4 Debra Anderson Stephen Cole Susan Cole Dennis Hartman Dwight Kamm Lawana Kohman Pat Cormack Timothy Fry Wilma Masters Linda McKellar Craig Schneider Doug Stephens Carolyn Points Linda Schlesener Ron Schlesener Pam Wendler I Danny Traub FACULTY 5 Custodians Jule Adam and Leland Welsh Bus drivers: Sandi Thornhill, Hallie Butterfield Bus drivers: Herb Schimming, Naverta Elliott Cooks from left to right: Leola Neuschafer, Emma Rock, Miriam France 6 Cary Eugene Bryant H Do you remember ■I the laughter and the the shadows of misty yesteryears? ■HHHHj I - - : 1 inn ' ;i:i(i ! 1 • bad you’ve seen ------------- all the others in between remember Do you remember the times of your life?
