Mrs. Rhodes has been not only our class sponsor, but a teacher of languages, librarian, and senior play director. In many ways she has helped us to be better students and better individuals. Mr. McCarty was also our senior class sponsor. He teaches woodworking, freshman and sophomore physical educa- tion, and driver's education. He is assistant coach for our football team and head coach for our basketball team. Mr. Mc- Carty was also a director for our senior class play. Perhaps Mr. McCarty's greatest accomplishments came in coaching our great basketball team for the past three years and receiving two second place trophies and one first place trophy. Practically every stu- dent learned to drive a car under Mr. McCarty's watchful eye. Thank you for all you have done, Mr. McCarty! 3

DEDICATION We, the Senior Class of Seventy, dedicate this annual to the two main reasons our class has had so much success this past year--Mr. Mc- Carty and Mrs. Rhodes. We appreciate the many, many small things you both have done to make our class run smoothly. And so we, the Senior Class of '70', wish to express our gratitude and thanks for all you have done by dedicating this annual for the year 1969-70 to you, Mr. McCarty and to you, Mrs. Rhodes. The seniors shall never forget Mrs. Rhodes for her excellent teach- ing of the Spanish and Latin classes. She has been teaching these classes for many years here at Hope High.
