Mrs. Laverna Wuthnow Secretary Mr. Donald P. Little Personal Message by Mr. Little My philosophy of education is based upon the needs of young adults in a rapidly changing democratic society. We are con- tinually adding courses of study to keep you abreast of the times. May the changing so- ciety and changing world create in you a challenge to succeed and to take advantage of the many opportunities offered to you through education. We strive to fit the school and educational opportunities to your desires and needs. We do not try to fit you to the school. May the benefits be yours. I am keenly interested in the success and welfare of this Senior class. May I extend to you the heartiest congratulations upon completion of your high school career. 8

Board °s Education Cecil Kuhn Milton Jacobson Howard Fry Personal Message Self-reliance is an American legacy. Some may measure it as individual initiative, others backbone. But whatever it is called, it is a precious ingredient within the char- acter of each one of us, one which we must not lose. The educational institutions located in this great land are geared to the extent that this basic element, confidence in one's self, is promoted during the sojourn of the stu- dent. Graduation day offers an opportunity to pause and evaluate this principle, among other attainments, and resolve to continue its progress. Your local community has fostered your educational journey thus far with the hope that the knowledge gained will be of com- mensurate value to you in your future wel- fare. The Board of Education extends to you, the graduation class of 1966, our congrat- ulations and best wishes upon the successful completion of a task well done. 9
