THE CHOICE IS YOURS Which road will you take? Each senior must soon make this decision. He must decide whether to further his education in college or to obtain a job; whether to marry immediately or wait until trained for a career. The four years spent in Hope High School will help him make this decision.

Mrs. Florence Hatfield has been teaching at Hope High School for eight years. During this time she has taught Home Economics along with being Annual Staff Sponsor, Junior Class Sponsor, and FHA Advisor. She, also, was District FHA Advisor for two years and Assistant District Advisor for three years. As the Junior Class Sponsor she helped with the Junior-Senior Banquet. In the year 1963-64 she stepped in and helped by teaching Freshman and Sophomore English. Mrs. Hatfield did a marvelous job of planning the new Home Economics Cottage and working in it after it was built. We, the Annual Staff of 1965 dedicate this annual to Mrs. Hatfield in deep appreciation for all the help she has given us and all the other students of Hope High School these past eight years. 4

It has provided a wood- working department, better facilities for shop projects, more complete equipment, and a new class room conveniently located. The new home economics build- ing has provided four complete kitchen units and an automatic laun- dry unit for the various home economics classes. Also, ample space and equipment are provided for clothing and discussion classes, F. H. A., and other group activities.
