Class Prophecy This is the TV program It Could Be You In 1969 broadcasting over channel '69 from the H R H S TV Station. Unknown to the audience, Professor Jack H. Sloan has assembled the graduating class of '59 in the studio audience. The Master of Ceremonies is William Yakle and his first hand announcer of commercials is Mrs. Leila Rhodes. It could be you, Roy Backhus, in 1969 as a millionaire playboy. Just think of spending your leisure time sun-bathing on a Yacht away from all the gossip of the town, because with Carolyn Hartman's nose for news she will surely be writing the leading gossip column of the New York Sun. It could be you, Dale Wingerd, the head janitor at Colorado College for Women. We always knew you had a secret admiration for girls, even though you tried to hide it in high school. And you, Jannette Senner, in 1969 will find that right guy for you. You must be pretty partic- ular since you have had an ample supply of boy friends on hand at all times. It could be you, Jeanne Rutz, as a model on TV for the Fashions Fit For The Five Foot Figures Inc. We know you have the perfect height for such a size dress. And speaking of TV stars, Clarice Bryant, will still be working to replace her ideal Lucile Ball and still she has her one main asset her NATURAL red hair. Jon Scott, it could be you as an.athletic instructor, at a Y. W.C.A, with 15 girls around you constantly. Coaching was always one of your main interests. We all know that your other interest is you, Carolyn Rhodes, who will be doing the singing advertizements for Lipton's Tea, on the Arthur Godfrey Program. You always wanted to be a TV Star. It could be you, Mary Rhodes, after finishing your education of 34 semesters, starting at Colorado Women's College, then being transferred to Yale for your Law Degree. Did you ever dream you would be Secretary of State in 1969? It could be one of you, Pat Schneider, Janet Rutz, or John Eshbaugh. By 1969 Pat will be Mrs. Melvin Davis, and will be head operator of the Ramona Telephone Co. She will have plenty of help with her two sets of twins and a set of triplets. All Boys. Janet Rutz, will be office secretary at old Hope High with Mr. Sloan still the Principal. It seems that you never did spend enough time in the office during High School. John Eshbaugh, you have been in the Navy now for 10 years; but still hold the rank of seaman 3rd. Class after becoming Captain a few times. I guess you want to make a career of it. Gary Neuschafer, it could be you after attending K. State for four years. You are now an Ag. Teacher at East High in Wichita and wouldn't you know it, Phyllis Jacobson, you have completed your Homemaking Degree and are teaching at West High in Wichita. You went steady through high school and college and still you have kept that class ring. It could be you, Paul Wolf, after getting your training at Morgan and Hoffman you are now assist- ant to the head mechanic who is your father-in-law, Melvin Davis, at the bus barn. Carol Hill, it could be you, ten years from now as Mrs. Tom Hinkle. You and Tom have the best run farm around due to the fact you went to business school to learn how to keep books. In 1969 Anita Altmann, you will be head soda jerk of what is now Chuck Hummel's Drug Store at Hope. You won't have to hire any help because you will have a number of little jerks running around. It could be you Steve Miller, as manager of the Dillon Elevator. It now has a lot of business because of the main attraction—your six good looking secretaries. It could be you, Judy Rutz, as the senior executive of the Sienderella Beauty Shoppe helping girls who are short and heavy have the glamorous figures they've always wanted. And you, Barbara Ihde, as her assistant in charge of helping tall, thin girls become more graceful.
