The commercial de- partment with its modern equipment, its skilled teach- ers, and its active connection with the world ot busi- ness instructs students in the tundamentals ot tree en- terprise. It trains them in the mazes ot business law and employer-employee relationships as well as the skills tor keeping industry and commerce well or- ganized and productive. Through salesmanship courses and distributive education, the department teaches l-lope students how to get along in actual competition, how to promote a product. and how every rung in the ladder helps attain the end result - success.
