That' The first five games of the season lacked something of the past years. No big sweaters, coats, hats, or mittens were seen being worn by the fans. It just wasn't football weather. But when Home- coming came around, the weather finally co- operated to provide real football atmosphere. This added to the excitement of the game. The traditional procedures were followed: before the game the queen and her court were escorted by chosen football players to represent each class. The girls sat on the sidelines during the game watching the Vikings dominate their opponents-Marlington- 40-O.
