Cartoons, Computers Add Variety Mr. Palmer expressed enthusiasm for a new assignment he has in- troduced to his Art IV classes. This new feature requires each of the stu- dents to develop an original ani- mated cartoon, which involves creat- ing unique characters, composing a script, and producing and directing the film. The assignment is designed to provide the students with a better understanding of, and experience in working with film-making K techniques. Several new additions have been made to the Math program, in- cluding two electronic calculators, a new computer, and a Math Seminar Course. The calculators and com- puter are being used to perform tedious computations formerly done by students. The Math Seminar Course was introduced to provide students with topics not covered in Senior Math. ',,,.4-ntvnlf .,,..pn-nH-
