Changes Make Classes Interesting Dr. Robert Canzoneri was the first visiting poet to speak at Hoover High. Senior Poetry students se- lected him from a list submitted by the Ohio Poet's Association. By studying the poems and hearing the speaker, students arrived at a better understanding of poetry. Another innovative project was the production of The Unfinished Breakfast, a film-making experi- ence for Mr. Airhart's English class. The entire production was written, produced, and directed by students. Mrs. Ream is pleased that the Ger- man III and IV classes are separate for the first time. She feels that this is to the benefit of the students. Mrs. Ream also said, All the lan- guage teachers are pleased by the in- creased enrollment in higher levels. J an-up ,Wm 5 . v .- ' f . -,.
