The Hoover High gridders piled up Ill first downs to Louisvilles one and registered a net 185 yards to the Leop- ards' Il2. N. C. Og ORRVILLE 8 This was the Vikings' fifth game of the season. It was a game of the un- beaten. The Red Raiders were -l-0 and the Vikings were 5-U-l. Tom Gerber. and Wfayne San- ftifcl. ln the third quarter Byron Draper electrified the crowd with a 55-yard taunt to pavdirt. Xvayne Sanford made the Vikings' final touchdown. N. C. 12g CARROLLTON 2-i The Vikinzs entered their last game of the season with high hopes of fin- ishing the season with a '-l-l record but instead finished with .1 6-2-l rc-cord There was .t decided letdown after their great victory over jackson the week be- fore. Carrollton was gunning for an undefeated season, and they were really fired up.
