These students have worked long and hard to make the 1951-55 Viking one to be remembered for many years to come. This year's staff has had a generous helping of the trials and tribula- tions that have plagued annual staffs for years. They have also experienced the sense of satisfaction that comes at the completion of a job well done. The business staff has done an unusually fine job of selling both annuals and advertising copy this year. They have sacrificed many of their Saturdays to raise the thirty-eight hundred dollars necessary to put an annual to press. XVe hope that future staffs will gain as much experience and en- joyment as we have had in the past year. Following a new trend hegun last year, the grad- uating class of 1955 has been placed at the end of the annual. Other new features are a senior index and a page of contents. This year a two-color scheme was used in the hook for the first time. XX'e hope that little Vic, our mascot. will be a helpful guide as he leads you back over some of the brighter moments of 1954-1955.
