I SAW IT FIRST! Junior Varsity wrestlers and their referee fight over a quarter during a match Animals Ilncaged At Hoover Without a doubt, wrestling, probably more than any other sport, stresses individual strength and stamina from an athlete. During the course of a match, wrestlers of equal weight are pitted against one another. They strive to achieve victo- ry over their opponent by utilizing their skill, strength and quick reflexes. Many people often forget about Junior Varsity and Sophomore sports. They do, however, play a very important part in Hoover sports, and wres- tling is no exception. To be on the J.V. team means putting in just as many hours of hard work as the Varsity team. This takes a great deal of dedication.
