Pate Volleyball Team Bumps, Sets and Spikes to N.Y.L. Hoover's Girl's Varsity Volleyball team did well this season with a winning record of 10-8. Although they did not obtain the usual lst or 2nd place, they did receive 4th in the N.Y.L. standings. The team was led by three returning senior players, Camilla Brown, Ashlyn Lujano, and Lisa Lund. Bump That Ball, Set That Ball, Hit That Ball. WANT TO SEE my ballet routine? l Tl-IAT'S PRETTY FUNNY, says Aldy. H0over's Girl's J .V. Volleyball team had a good season. They won 6 out of 12 games. Tara To- mamichel was awarded The Most Outstanding Player Award and Aldy Tamayo was awarded the Coach's Award. The coach, Mikki Horn, is a former Hoover Volleyball player. The team really had a lot of spirit this year, which helped them in their games. The Varsity team will be getting a lot of good players next year.
