The Awkward Age. Sixteen. An age we've all been waiting to reach. It's finally here, and boy are we glad! After all those boring driving sessions in the car, and those disgustingly en- tertaining films in Drivers Education we can finally get our license! How long have we all daydreamed about our first time behind the wheel? That dream has now become a reality, since our sixteenth birthday. Sixteen also means feeling Cat least to ourselvesj like adults. Being sixteen means feeling proud when telling someone your age. But, our sixteenth year also brings with it some things that we don't like. One of those things is responsibility. As we grow older, and mature into adults, our parents expect more and more from us all the time. At the age of sixteen we're now able to go out into the working world. But of course, finding a job isn't as easy as people make it sound. Finding a job really isn't the tough part. After we've stumbled into it, we now have to be on time, be friendly, and put up with all the things our employer asks of us. Sixteen. Why did we have to turn sixteen anyway?
