Officers Promote Patriot Spirit And ead The Class To Victory President.. ....... Vice President .......... .......... Sec. Cathi Wiens As president of the Jr. Class, I felt we had a tremendous amount of school spirit, espe- cially during rallies and extra curricular ac- tivities. We were all scattered around cam- pus last year, but we united as Juniors and showed everyone we were very rowdy. The Juniors participated in activities throughout the entire year. We took part in class competitions during lunch, we played in intramural sports, we donated a Christ- mas tree for the Winter Formal Dance, and also helped sponsor a Toys for Tots cam- paign drive during Christmas. In October, a committee for Homecoming worked long and hard to build a float that represented the Junior class. As Juniors, our biggest responsibility of the year was to plan and put together the Junior-Senior Prom. A Prom committee formed early in December and plans got underway immediately. The Prom, which was held in May at the Star Palace, turned out to be awesome , and the Junior Class should be proud of the success. I would like to say I'm glad I had the opportunity to represent the Juniors and felt the experience was great. Our class sponsor, Mr. Ron Fleischer was a tremen- dous help with our activities, and without his support, a lot of things would not of been completed. It was also great working with the other class officers. They were easy to work with. Todd Lozano Junior President, '81- '82 Top.
