Spirit and sportsmanship were high, as nearly 50 boys came out for the team this year. There were many Sophomores and Juniors on the Pate swim team this year, which Coach Jacobson liked a lot, considering that many will return to the team in 1983. AQUA ADDICTS What do Frogs, Fish, Whales, and Surfers all have in common? If you said they're girls who go to Hoover, your only half right. They sure are girls, but these girls are the members of the GIRLS' SWIMMING TEAM. These girls put many hours of long and hard work outs everyday for four months. This gave the girls the chance to compete against other girls just like themselves. The dedica- tion we girls give is more than anyone could ever ask, said Andrea Adolphfa member of the tearnl.
