Mr. AG , 0 r s t - After years of being denied the Valley Championship, Hoover's Varsity water polo team finally captured that unattainable goal. It was done so in a thrilling victory at the Valley finals over Exeter, beating them 11-10. Under the coaching of Dale Hammel and assistant Dave Gleason, the Patriots finished the season at 21-3, tying with Clovis West for first place in NYL. Stand out Grant Hasson was named Most Valuable Player and made all Valley First team. Others who made first team were Tim Gleason, Doug Zaharris, and Tom Gleason fgoaliel. With such talents as these, no other team could have done it better! Thanks, guys, for all the exciting moments you have given us.
