THE HOOVER CAM U My name is Luc Vandermeulen. I'm 18 years old and a senior here. I'm an exchange student and I'm spending the schoolyear 80-81. I come from Belgium, my town selt is only 70 miles northeast of Brussels, the captial of Belgium. I was undecided about what I should do after high school in Belgium. I had a cousin who spent a year in Boston and he had a wonderful time. So I made the decision to go away for one year. I had to leave my friends and give up a lot of what meant safety and under- standing to me. I wanted to take that chance because I knew that I would never have such an opportunity again. In my stay, I never regretted that I took this fantastic chance to be with all i of you. I have to thank you, itis more than you'll ever know. I have great teacher, they taught me a lot of things and English of course. Each teacher has a lot of different systems too. I like my teachers, classmates, and the school is pretty and big.
