The 1980 Hoover High Homecoming is an event that will be remembered for years to come. Our noontime activities, including an Urban Cowboy Contest, a rootbeer chug, and a tug-0-war were just the beginning of homecoming excitement this year. The lst annual Homecoming Barbeque and Carnival took place the night before Homecoming. Patriot spirit was flying high that night. The big events of the night were the dunk tank, the ever-popular pie auction and the crowning of Hooveris own Super Pate, Mr. Tom Fries. The Patriots were at their best in the win against the Roosevelt Roughriders. Our Homecoming Parade featured class floats and the four queen candidates, Sheila Hom, Pam Ourlian, Tiffany Lockett, and Paige Clark, along with the sophomore attendant, Sherri Giragosian, and the junior attendant, Carrie Miller. All the attention was given to these lovely young ladies as they awaited the crowning of the 1980 Homecoming Queen, Miss Pam Ourlian. 1- 1980 Homecoming Queen, Pam Ourlian. 2- Queen and Attendants L-R Carrie Miller, Sheila Horn, Sherri Giragosian, and Queen Miss Pam Ourlian. 3- Surprise Pam!! 4- The Homecoming Court: Sherri Ciragosian and Augie Gu- dino, Carrie Miller and Brent Majors, Sheila Horn and Vince Murphy, Pam Ourlian and Orlando Gomez. 216
