With so many terrific players on the team, the opponents had little chance to get past Hoover. The Patriots, with skill and effort, downed Clovis by beating them in their own pool, being the first school to ever do so. With great coach- ing from Dale Hammel and assistant Dave Gleason, Hoo- ver's H20 poloists captured the NYL Title and placed sec- ond in the valley, finishing the season with 21-4 overall.
