Madera won the combined N.Y.L. east and west with an 11-0 record. Hoover was second after beating McLane, with a 10-3 record. This was the first year that the North Yosemite League was split. S T 'A i ff' R, .s A - r c The Hoover l.V. volleyball team had a very good season. Win- ning all their games except two, they tied Clovis for the NYL. Coached by Mary Yarborough, the team improved more in every game. The girls all got along well and many are returning next year to defend the title.
