This year the sophomores are no longer the youngest or the newest faces to Hoover. This privilege has been handed down to . . . ta-da . . . the freshmen. This new breed of high school life is a group of kids who are learning to adjust to high school a year earlier than others. 1. To conserve energy, the thermostats are set at 75 degrees, which doesn't help the sticky situation students find themselves in. Little did we expect to want some of that hot weather back during the cold winter months that would come all too soon and see thermostats plunge to 65 degrees by order of President Carter. 1. Students look on with fear and amazement as Mr. Moore plays with a pet tarantula during biology. 2.
