This year the sophomores are no longer the youngest or the newest faces to Hoover. This privilege has been handed down to . . . ta-da . . . the freshmen. This new breed of high school life is a group of kids who are learning to adjust to high school a year earlier than others. 1. X 1. The Adams Family receives a pep talk from head coach Bert Adams before an important game. 2. Miss Bo-Peep, Julie Peterson is just one of the many babes in Babes in Toyland . 3. Seniors Julie Cook, Dana Wilson, Cindy Isenhart, and Kathy Diment display three different ways to catch a man, timid, sexy, and vivacious. In other words, Hoover depends upon each of its 1374 students to be complete. 1979 erupted into a flurry of activities. For freshmen and sophomores, the first few days were spent adjusting toa new school, and finding lockers and classes. For the rest of us it was spent finding friends and catching up on summer gossip.
