FORWARD V A century has now passed since the first class graduated from Hoosick Falls High School. In 1873 Emma Gibson, Morgan Percy, Jacob Graves, Hattie Graves, and Welton Percy received their diplomas and entered the outside world with their mem- ories of high school years locked securely in their hearts. Our school has undergone vast changes in a hundred years. New fa- cilities and modern courses are now in the wider ranging curriculum. But the essenq of Hoosick Falls Central School is still a of everyone who walks through its doors. O lnvol!v ment, 4 ?edt fot life, and;qopc«rn for, all those we come in contact with make up the spirit of Hoosick Falls Central School.

Our high school principal, Mr. William Water- house, has more contact with the students than any other member of the administration. He has the duty of insuring that matters run smoothly in the high school and the unpleasant task of watchdog for unruly students. Together with these jobs he also presides over assemblies, acts as one of the Student Council advisors, and is the National Honor Society advisor. Mr. Stempek, whom we all remember from our grade school days, is largely out of contact with the high school student population. His duties include working out financial problems, substituting for absent teachers, and, of course, keeping order. We can be assured that each new class entering the high school really knows where it's at with this kind of administration. Board Members: LEFT TO RIGHT: FIRST ROW: H Harrison, D Miner, C. Frazier, A, Smith. SECOND ROW: F McGuire, I. Fisk, D McCart. Absent: D. Sutton. R Moll. 4
