A time comes when a closeness grows in a person— A closeness that encompasses his soul, the world, God. It is a time when his life expands, but his spirit encloses it. He feels strength and understanding in a sense he can't comprehend. There is a bond he forms with mankind in that he sees the blending and contrasting of life's miracles. He feels the elements of conscience, and he responds to comprehension and incomprehension. He experiences awe and frustration. There is suddenly a thankfulness within him that he must express, and a tremendous wish to explore and share the world. His life pitches forth and throws new light on values and goals •that no matter how young or naive are the basis of idealism and goodness that he needs to uplift him. This metamorphosis is as old as mankind itself, yet we stand in awe of such creation of character. Never will this process be altered as long as the universe preserves the soul of man. —Sue Carl

Seniors LEFT TO RIGHT: Leslie Hume, secretary; Debbie Manoogian, vice-president; Gerald Nason, president; Carol Brenenstuhl. treasurer In the fall of 1969, a mass of loud, yet timid freshmen de- scended upon the high school. The Class of '73 had arrived. As the years passed, this class, the largest ever to graduate from H.F.C.S., took an active role in school life. The Class of 1973 is the 100th to pass through the doors of Hoosick Falls High School. In their Junior year, with the help of Miss Hulihan, they sponsored a super-successful paper drive, and presented Im- agine '73 , the Junior Prom. The hard work continued in 1972-1973 as the Seniors kicked off the year with a $4000 maga- zine drive. With Mrs. V. as an advisor, the Seniors went on to sponsor the traditional Winter Ball and planned for their senior trip in May. The Senior Activity Group, working with Mr. East- wick, sponsored a picnic and raised money for its various activities. The Class of '73 has indeed shown good school cit- izenship. 8 Mrs. VonHaggin, advisor
