Donn and Barbara Wright Headmaster’s Greeting to the Class of 1987 The Class of 1987 will become particularly important in Hoosac’s history because of important changes that your class represents. First of all, you’re a substantially larger number of students to graduate from Hoosac for many years. Your numbers represent a new vigor and vitality in the life and progress of the school. You’re not only the last senior class to have smoking permission at Hoosac, you are the first in almost a decade to lead the school back to its tradition of fielding winning teams against our larger opponents. You have done much to build good morale and a winning attitude. (1 hope some of you use that strength to quit smoking on your own). Next, you have done well for yourselves academically and produced an impressive long list of good college acceptances. I wish to thank you for your contributions to Hoosac. You have set an example for successive senior classes to follow so that you and other alumni can always be proud that Hoosac is your school. I hope you will come back and visit when you can. Also, drop us a line once in a while and tell us your news. Mrs. Wright and 1 wish you success, good health and happiness always! May God bless you and keep you mindful of the needs of others.
