Dedication Each year the senior class dedicates its yearbook to a certain person who they feel has contributed the most to their life at HOOSAC. We, the class of 83, have chosen a person whom we feel deserves this special honor. If we listed everything this person has done for HOOSAC, we would go on for pages. While at HOOSAC, he has brought on great social and economic changes as well as enhancing the physical appearance of the school. He is very dedicated to the school and has always put the needs of the school before the needs of his own. It is with great admiration and thanks that we, the 1983 Senior Class of HOOSAC SCHOOL, dedicate our yearbook to our own Headmaster, Mr. Samuel S. Greene.

After Scarborough Fair Mellowing breezes of soft summer wind Flow through the minds of millions Bur few, in any, can catch the leaves Before school in winter's cold haven. Yes; it's a time of hurrying And before the stars stop shining You must look into her eyes and See your future, and the will that Can make your lives better. Hurry and run from the night Into the day, leaving only a path. Through the leaves, that the world Will follow. Keep it close to your heart, A place of secret refuge, on the hill In the midst of winter's cold haven. Through the trees and over the brook. Look out, and see your future, see her; Follow her with your mind, in the early Dew of spring, see her hair blow in the wind Follow her until you reach the edge Then look around, and realize you Made it, uncut by the thorns. As you look out on a dear blue ocean But she's gone, and you can hear the Whispering of the wind, saying Your lives have just begun; go Out and find her, and best wishes. 3
